Edinburgh
Last Saturday we spent a fantastic day in the capital of Scotland, Edinburgh.
Actually it is fun that every time we go sightseeing, it snows... but I think it is part of the traveller's luck or something like that! Anyway here the weather forecast is part of the Scottish lifestyle, it follows you hourly, it informs you constantly if there is rain, fog, gusts of wind and if the temperatures are changing ...as they do very, very frequently....we should get used to the weather here...it's a matter of survival!
We visited the astonishing Edinburgh Castle, with the ice and the snow under our feet...I felt to live the story of an old fairy tale. I also found out that I am part of a noble Italian family thanks to a book that it is inside the castle. It contains the surnames of lots of noble families in the World, including mine.
After this fantastic experience we went to the "UNDERGROUND EDINBURGH: THE LOST STREETS OF MARY KING’S CLOSE", but the tour guide spoke really fast and it was very difficult to understand her.
After lunch we visited the science part of the National Museum of Scotland, it was quite fun and I really enjoyed it.
