16/03/2019. Early in the morning we left for Edimburgh, the capital city of Scotland. There we visited the famous Castle, on the top of the Royale Mile.
The weather was not so generous with us, it snowed and rained all the time, and we were fighting against the cold.
The Castle was built up to defend the Scotts from the English attacks. It was Queen Anne's mansion as well. Nowadays tourists can admire the majestic Crown Jewels and the Stone of Destiny, a throne used to crown Scottish, English and British kings for centuries.
I liked the Royal Mile very much. It is the busiest tourist street in the Old Town, in competition with Princes Street in the New Town. It connects the Holyrood Palace to the Edimbugh Castle, and it is almost exactly a mile long.
The National Museum of Scotland was built in 2006 with collections related to Scottish antiquities, culture, technology and history. I was really an astounding and interactive experience!
Not even the snow can stop us!!!!
